As we learn in our text today, If the heart is not prepared to seek the Lord, then our conscience begins to harden, and we no longer see the spiritual compromise and decline we can easily slip into.  Unless we determine to stay close to God every day and walk in God’s ways, we can begin to backslide spiritually.
