When Paul heard from Epaphras about the new faith of the Colossians, he and his companions began praying earnestly for them. As we review this marvelous prayer, we can see how deep it is. As Paul prays for the Church of Colosse, it is interesting he did not pray for the numerical growth of that tiny church, for finance or success.  He prayed that these Colossian Christians and us today might know the will of God for our lives and that we will be able and empowered to live as the Lord wants (worthy of the Lord.)
Have you been praying this way lately?
